So your suggestion to keep temptation at bay by not having the stuff around is right on target.<br /><br />I find that if I chew a little sugarless gum, it solves the problem of wanting something sweet on cue. I have also found that my tolerance for sweetness goes down after I've avoided sugar for a while--so much so that things I normally like taste unbearably sweet to me. If you soldier through that and eat sweet stuff anyway (why oh why do we do that?), your tolerance returns.
